Sarah Platenius- Anatomy and Conscious TouchSarah Platenius bio pic

This portion of the anatomy training will be a hands on adventure of muscle and bone. With simple massage techniques, we will learn to explore muscle tissue and bony landmarks. Mostly, this will be an afternoon of fun; getting to know your way around beneath the skin while enjoying some massage from your classmates, and feeling the significance of touch in a yoga classroom setting. Sarah was introduced to yoga in 1992 and is a licensed Anusara-InspiredTM yoga teacher. She continually studies with John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga www.anusara.com as well as other remarkable teachers. Yoga weaved its way through her 12 years as a licensed massage therapist through the U.S. National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) www.ncbtmb.org. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Somatic Psychology.
