Airport Reflections
I am waiting for my first flight home here in Salt Lake City and feeling ready to be home with my family, but at
the same time sad to be leaving one of my new favourite places on this amazing planet. I was able to get some time just hiking around Park City after class yesterday (this included a terrifying scenic chair lift ride! apparently my fear of heights is getting worse as I age) and I will be taking home so many images of beauty. I think my favourite thing about Park City is that the summer light is actually golden. It is so bright, and warm and radiant without being overbearing or intense, like the light we have in autumn…but they have it everyday. Gorgeous. I will also be taking home memories of some new friends that inspired me with their stories and their openness. I know that there are alot of scary and horrible things going on in the world right now but at the same time people are waking up and reaching out and expanding thier vision at a rapid rate. These are interesting times to live in for sure and I am always comforted to meet more people that are committed to living in service of the light.
This trip has given me much to think about but even more that I want to act on. On our last day with John he reminded us that it is always important to take an eagle’s eye view of the future and where we are heading and the effect of our actions, but at the same time urged us to light a fire in our hearts and to move strongly forward in service of our higher vision. Because each moment is precious and each moment is the moment of power and now is not the time to wait till a better opportunity arises to make the changes we know we need to or to share our voice with the world. Now is the time to act.
So I am leaving Park City with a golden glow in my heart, a warmth of love and appreciation for all the people I met and all the beauty that I witnessed, and a passionate desire to both take my vision to the next level and to love every minute of the journey and each person that shares it with me.
With deep gratitude I offer thanks to all of you that support me in so many wonderful ways so that I can continue to learn and to grow, to deepen in my commitment to my truth, and to practice living up to my highest intentions. You know who you are.
